Jonathan
Bonfiglio
has covered Latin America for a generation. Based in Mexico, he has reported on widespread topics including migration and the US/Mexico border, the Venezuelan economic collapse, Amazonian deforestation, the evolving end of communism in Cuba, the insurrection in Brasilia and recently the crisis in Haiti, among many others.
Bonfiglio provides reports & analysis on the region for a wide variety of media outlets, including Times Radio (UK), the ABC (Australia), LBC (UK) & Grupo Formula (Mexico), as well as writing a regular Sunday column for Pulso newspaper (Mexico).
Bonfiglio also covers sport in Latin America, and is the World Cup Correspondent for Track Radio (UK) and hosts the World Cup etc podcast. He also contributes to World Soccer magazine, and has regularly appeared on talkSPORT (UK).
As an art critic, Bonfiglio writes on art across the Americas for a variety of magazines & periodicals including Newcity in Chicago and Glasstire in Texas.
As Latin America Correspondent, Bonfiglio also mentors emerging and early-career journalists in the region, helping talented and underpresented voices establish footholds and develop work within the industry.
